Body Swirls

Step 1: Find a good image to use. In this tutorial I'm going to be using this image:


Step 2: Next, select the pen tool and match these settings:


Step 3: With the pen tool, make swirly/back & forth lines around her legs. Make sure to make them nice and rounded!


Step 4: Layer - New - Layer (or Control+Shift+N) and name it "Leg Swirl".

Step 5: Click on the paintbrush tool and mach these settings:


Step 6: Make sure your foreground color is white and go over to your Paths window. Right click on your swirly line path and select "Stroke Path".


Step 7: Another window will apear, match these settings and click "OK"


Your image should now look like this:


Step 8: On your keyboard, hold down Control + H to hide your path lines. It should look like this:


Step 9: Go back to your layers window and select your new layer named "Leg Swirl".
Click on the lasso tool (doesn't matter which one) and zoom in to 200%, or whatever you prefer.
With the lasso tool, select every other line that goes over her body and click "Delete" on your keyboard.

Step 10: When you are done with that make your "Leg Swirl" layer opacity at 70%.


Your image should now look like this:


Step 11: Duplicate your "Leg Swirl" layer and put the opacity back to 100%.
Drag the duplicated layer underneith the origional layer.
Now, go Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur and match these settings and click "OK".


Your image should now look like this:

Now just add some cool effects to the image and you're done!
